After the massively successful launch of the N. Sane Trilogy for PS4 last year, rumours were rife about the game eventually making it’s way to other platforms, more so Xbox One than anything else. There were a number of leaks and pictures floating around online since it’s launch, giving people hope of a multi platform release at certain dates throughout the year.
Alas those dates came and went with no further news and release for Crash, with Xbox and Switch owners around the world starting to loose hope of seeing the lovable Bandicoot on their preferred console. However during yesterdays Nintendo Direct, the game was finally confirmed for a Switch release, with a full trailer confirming an Xbox One and PC release following shortly after.
The rumours of a one year PS4 exclusivity deal appear to have been correct as the game is due for release on these additional platforms on 10th July 2018. Not only is Crash returning to both Xbox and Nintendo consoles (albeit this is the first time the original trilogy has appeared on these consoles), this is also the first time the Bandicoot will be available on PC, in an officially capacity.
If the rumours are to be believed that Activision are also remastering the first three Spyro games for PS4 later this year, you can expect that an Xbox, Switch and PC release will be soon to follow.
