Kong: Skull Island Trailer 2 Shows us the King in Action!

Yesterday Warner Bros. treated us to some brand new posters for their upcoming monster epic, Kong: Skull Island, and they were beautiful images. Today Warner Bros. has decide to teach us in the moving picture field with a brand new trailer for the movie.

This trailer is a lot different to the first one, and I don’t mean in regards to the footage shown. The tone of this trailer feels very different, almost pitching the movie as an action/adventure as opposed to a tense monster movie.

Now don’t get me wrong, that’s not a bad thing, at least in my opinion. I really liked the first trailer and I liked this trailer even more, everything that Warner Bros. is giving us from teaser images, to the new posters yesterday and now this new trailer is just amping up my exciting for this movie.

It seems as though the King is adapted a little bit differently from other incarnations, in the sense that he lives in some form of harmony with the majority of the other Skull Island residents, and if you don’t bother him, he won’t bother you. Unless you come uninvited and start dropping bombs in somebody’s home.

Of course there are the giant monsters that both the human and Kong will have to team up in order to defeat, as there seemed to be a lot of giant monkey skulls lying around. There also seemed to be the lack of a damsel for Kong to fall in love with, but that could very well be different in the finished product.

What I loved about this trailer was just how much it emphasised the sheer size and scale of King Kong, it shows us how huge he actually is and it gives us an even better idea of how he’s going to take on Godzilla. The CGI in this movie also looks incredible, and if the full feature follows suite from the trailer, then we are in for a visual treat.

You can view the full trailer below.
